This discussion is focused upon the social and moral barriers that Christians face in maximizing Jesus’ love within the world. The presentation is organized as follows:

How the paradox of the right and the good shapes ideas of love, fairness and justice and why Jesus came to resolve this ancient dilemma of humanity.
The social and economic inequalities of harms disguised as social or moral goods.
Jesus and the monetization of Christian values. The failure of distributive justice.
How the monetization of American values has led to higher income inequality, violent crime rates, greater numbers of people in prison, longer work hours, higher health care costs and lower health care status than other developed countries.
Why resolving the paradox is necessary to stop the social and economic conflicts that routinely tear our world apart.
